Top Rated Eligible Weeks not updated

Hi Everyone, The "Top Rated Eligible Weeks" option in the "My Stats" section has not been updated in the previous week. I know that the JSS updates after every 2 weeks but the "Top Rated Eligible Weeks" option used to update every week. Am I right? Thanks.

I was about to say the same thing, but you beat me to it.  I've been sitting on 12 weeks for almost 2 weeks now, and I'd really like to get the 13th week and top rated status already!  Anybody know what's going on?  I'm getting plenty of work without it, but I'd really like that endorsement!

Did you have some "not eligible weeks" before reaching a JSS of over 90% again? In that casebthose have to fall out of the back end of the 16 week window before it increases, because while they are still in the middle of the window, a good week falls out every week as much as a good week is added. This would mean at least one of the presumably 4 non-eligible weeks must fall out of the 16 week window before it increases again.

That's all confusing to me.  If last week my stats read 12 of 16 weeks eligible, then this week should read 13 of 16 weeks eligible, provided my score hasn't dropped below 90% since last week.  At some point,   I had a few days of 87%, I believe due to an inactive contract because my client wanted to table the job for a while to work on some other stuff.  (His prerogative, but my loss, it seems!)  Anyway, I THINK thatwas before the 13 week count started.  Not sure.

I have same issue, for last 4, 5 weeks Eligible Weeks is struck on 12 although my JSS is above 90%. Currently my JSS is ranging between 94 to 98 percent for last many weeks but Eligible weeks struck on 12th week. Please check and hopefully if fixed, I should be awarded with Top Rated badge.

Eligible weeks are ones where you either had Rising Talent status or a Job Success Score above or equal to 90%. In order for the count to increase, you must be eligible this week, but not have been eligible 17 weeks ago (Eligible Weeks count would go up by one). Exact same is with me. 12 weeks on 2nd april. and 9th april should be 13th week.

Hi Attiq and Melanie,

 

Eligible weeks' count is still updated every Saturday. Is it possible that the weeks in which you had a Job Success Score below 90% haven't started to fall off the calculation window? For example, if you had a Job Success Score of at least 90% or a Rising Talent status 17 weeks ago and also in the most recent week, but not for a number of weeks in between, your number of eligible weeks will stay the same. This is due to the most recent eligible week being swapped with the one that fell off the calculation.

 

However, if 17 weeks ago you did not have a Job Success score of 90% or higher but you did in the most recent week, the number of eligible weeks should have increased by one. If that's the case, please contact Customer Support and ask them to review your eligible weeks.

Vladimir, that is not what this is about, at least not in many cases.

 

There is an issue that's been outstanding for almost a week now with missing eligible weeks. I opened a ticket on this on Monday and have not heard a single word about it.

 

I've only been here a few weeks, and I have been eligible for 7 continuous weeks as of last Sunday, and it still shows 6. In my case there's nothing to roll off. I also know exactly what date I will hit 13 weeks (May 21) as I calculated it several weeks ago.

 

Others have reported the same.

 

There's a problem and it's not being addressed.

ETA: This issue was confirmed by a mod here as being an actual system problem several days ago, related to people missing their TR badges. I believe that issue has been fixed, but this one has not.

We will double check if the Top Rated issue earlier this week affected eligible weeks metric and will get back to you.

 

Normally, it can take up to almost 4 months for the eligible weeks count to increase. It may not increase every week when you are eligible but only when a non-eligible week falls off of the calculation and an eligible one is added. We have a very helpful graph at the bottom of this article.

Valeria -- I have no non-eligible weeks to roll off. I became eligible nearly 8 weeks ago, and have been eligible continuously since then.

 

And it increased every Sunday until this past one.

 

I appreciate the reply but there is a system problem here. I'd be grateful if you could find out if it is going to be corrected. Thank you.

Can I get more clarification in this issue? 

When did those noneligible weeks appear in my account? 
As far as I know, I had no JSS drops or non-eligibility weeks for the last 12 weeks(since the day JSS appeared and count started)

I am quite sure that my score is in this way: 000000111111111111
0 for non eligibility 1 for eligibility

Please, provide a precise response,

You must take a look at this issue now because there so many freelancers who are facing the same problem. For last 3-4 months I haven't seen anyone complaining about this issue in the community.

This issue has started after update. First, a few freelancers reported about top rated status disappearance and I thought that my problem will also be resolved but the issue is still the same.

There is definitely some system issue because I don't find any ineligible factors in my profile.

I've been sitting on 10 of 16 weeks for at least 8 weeks. What gives. I was at 10 of 16 weeks when my score went from went from 97 to 88 for a brief 2-week period, then went right back up to a 92 where it's been sitting unchanged for about 2 months. Still says 10 of 16 weeks. Something must be stuck.

 

If those eligible weeks were at the oldest end of your 16-week block when you started counting, it would take 14 weeks to move past 10/16.

 

Remember that each new two week period that you're eligible, the earliest two weeks are dropping out of the count. If those were eligible weeks that are dropping out, then the two weeks gained and the two weeks lost cancel each other out and the total doesn't change. It's only when non-eligible weeks drop off and are replaced by eligible weeks that the numbers change.

I am also still waiting for this to be resolved. My JSS is above 90% 13 weeks in a row (will be 14 this Sunday) but My Stats say 12. I haven't raised a ticket because I thought that this would be resolved systematically.

I have the same problem.


I was on 10 weeks before Saturday 8th April, but it didn't increase to 11 weeks, despite the fact I met all the criteria (> 90% JSS etc)

I contacted support and got a canned response about weeks falling off, despite the fact I went to great lengths to demonstrate that wasn't true in this case.

 

I contacted support again and they insisted I should be on 10 even though I was on 10 before.

 

I know I'm correct and even have screenshots to prove it.

 

It seems Upwork want to close their eyes and imagine it's all ok, but it's not. There is an issue here but it is not being addressed. โ€‹

 

 

Same goes for me ,i've been observing for a  while hoping to change the eligibilty  and yet it's not changing.

Well, now mine reads that I have been eligible 14 of 16 weeks, but it still says I am ALMOST eligible for Top Rated Status.

Mine just updated from 2 to 4. I guess they have fixed it.

Please let them know that my account is effected to - no changes in more then a month. The eligible weeks stays on 10 although I am over 90.

Hello! I have the same problem.  Do not move the counter of the weeks needed for the top raited beidge. When I started working I had a Raising talent badge for 9 weeks, but at the end of January I lost it. JSS above 90% appeared at the end of February and since then have passed about 6 weeks. According to my calculations, 4 weeks ago I supposed to restart the counter, and at the moment there should be at least 12 weeks out of the 13 required and not 9 as I still have. Please check the information, it seems to me that the counter is stuck. Thank you! P.s The threshold of $ 1000 is long done. Also I've already contacted help center recently, but no one has decided my problem, just provide me common description how to calculate weeks, I already know this way, I need to fix my counter, because it should started count again about 4 weeks ago. Thank you!

I am having the same problem. My JSS has been above 90% for the last 13 weeks in a row, in addition to meeting all the other top-rated criteria, yet my JSS score is still stuck on 12 weeks out of 16 when it should have updated to 13 on Sunday, and I'm still not top-rated.

 

I emailed support but just got a standard copy/paste response saying 'check out our guide on becoming top-rated' instead of addressing any of my points. 

 

Please can someone look into this as I've been keeping a close eye on my stats page every week for the last 13 weeks I've been above 90%, and see no reason as to why it hasn't updated.
