Top-Rated Plus-No Job

I don't seem to understand what's happening to my Upwork account lately. I am a Top-Rated Plus freelancer but I am not getting interviews or jobs despite applying for jobs that mostly suit my skills and experience.  This is a big worry for me.

Same is happening to me. I am wondering why upwork doesn´t return connects to freelancers when the client is not hiring. Upwork should filter clients that are not willing to hire for whatever reason they may have and retourn connects to the freelancers after a couple of weeks.

Are you submitting a job or just waiting for an invitation?

I am submitting between 3-5 jobs per day. None of them seem to be awarded to anyone.
