Hi everyone,
I'm keeping an eye on my Top Rated eligible weeks bar daily, and it goes from zero to 14 elligble weeks-non stop- and almost going to 15, until now i didn't receive Top rated badge on my profile, Do I lack for something?, when should I get it?, I thought I should get it directly after 13 weeks, finally How to know that I got it? do I receive a message or a notificataion?
Thank you

Hi Talaat,
Thanks for providing the screenshot. While your eligible weeks are calculated correctly, note that you'll need to earn at least $1000 in the last 12 months in order to qualify for the Top Rated program.

Hi Talaat,
Can you please provide a screenshot of the eligible weeks metric showing zero and then 14 weeks?

Hi Vladimir,
Thank you for replying, I sure have screen shot for my 14 (currently 15) weeks, but I don't have one for zero weeks eligible, actually I didn't take one as I didn't think I'll need one in case.
I hope 15 weeks screenshot only will be useful
Thanks

Hi @vladimir, Hope you are fine.
I am an active on the Upwork in last 90+ days and made more than $1000+ in the last 12 months.
I'm not sure why but still shows 8 of the 16 weeks which I think was showing ~1-2 months ago, I'm keeping my eye on stats from last ~2 months and it seems like just "last updated" status and "earnings" is being updating on the stats tab.
Below is the screenshot of stats page.
Also if you notice, "Job success" is also not seems to be updated since I have 3 jobs completed and 1 job in progress.
Also yes, I remember I got the Rising Talent badge too after completing my first job.
Here're my other stats (if you or anyone can look and guide me?) Thanks.
Thanks..
Regards,
Narain.

Hi Narain,
Top Rated eligible weeks are weeks when you either had Rising Talent badge or maintained JSS above 90%. Since you haven't completed enough contracts with feedback from different clients, your JSS hasn't been calculated yet. It also looks like you've lost your Rising Talent status and since that happened you've gained a few non-eligible weeks.

Hi Valeria,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Well, I am not fully convinced; maybe that's due to I'm not very familiar with the upwork terms etc or maybe I'm new here..
I have following few questions/points re. your reply, If you can answer these here, it would be really nice. Thanks.
- "Top Rated eligible weeks are weeks when you either had Rising Talent badge or maintained JSS above 90%." - I had Rising Talent badge once right after completing my first job and I didn't noticed why and when I lost it, I thought maybe it's some Upwork feature etc. I really don't know how Upwork calculate JSS but as I know It never calculated for me and shown on my profile since past 2 months.
- "Since you haven't completed enough contracts with feedback from different clients" - Can you please explain a bit, What it really means? I don't know if it relates or not but I had 4 jobs in past ~2 months and out of 4, 3 are completed and the 1 is in progress.
Fyi. Here're my all jobs (periods / activity):
1. Job1: August 2017 - 5* feedback = Got Rising talent badge
2. Job2: Sep - Oct 2017 - 4.65* feedback = (I think, I lost Rising talent badge here, but not sure)
3. Job3: Sept 2017 - InProgress - N/A
4. Job4: Nov 2017 - 5* feedback
- You're right I lost my Rising Talent status? Can I please know in anyway that I have lost it, If that's due to few non-eligible weeks as you mentioned, so how can I know which weeks were they?
- and in last, what does the non-eligible weeks and eligible weeks really mean (as per upwork definition etc) ?
I'm sorry but the above points might seem to be related with each other..
Thanks.
I hope this discuss will help others too.

Narain,
There are a few reasons why a freelancer can lose their Rising Talent badge:
In order for Job Success score to be calculated, a freelancer needs to complete at least four jobs with feedback from 3 different clients.
Weeks when a freelancer had a Job Success score of 90% and higher or a Rising Talent badge are considered eligible.

Alright Valeria,
Yes, Now this makes some sense to me, Thanks for explaining.
Yes, I agree It might be some private feedback from a client effected my profile RT badge.
Kudo's :+1 for your time and help. Thanks.
fyi. reply for RT badge is also explained here in related discussion: https://community.upwork.com/t5/Freelancers/How-to-get-my-Rising-Talent-Badge-AGAIN/m-p/431670#M2630...

Hi! I am also wondering why I havent recieved an email for Top Rated? I was able to maintain my Rising Talent 13 weeks of 16. Started working July and I am earning $1k already at this time, my first hire was more than 90 days ago. I have 100% complete profile and no recent account holds. Thanks!

Hi Francis,
Since you still haven't received your Job Success Score, you're not eligible to become a Top Rated freelancer. To learn more about all of the requirements you will need to fulfill to become a Top Rated freelancer, check out this Help Article. Thank you.

Hello Valeria!
Thank you for your reply. Can you explain a more detailed one thing? About 90%+
So it is equal to:
if(JSS < 90){
// true 1
}else if(JSS =< 90){
//true 2
}
Which one true is true ?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Evgeny

The JSS has to be 90% or better (for a minimum of 90%) for both eligible weeks and the top rated status.

Hi I've started upwork after some years. Now I'm working from more than 2 months and my earning have been crossed 3k. But my status is still:
Jul 8, 2021 03:00:12 PM by Andrea G
Hi Abdul,
The Rising Talent badge is automatically assigned when a freelancer meets the requirements listed here. Once you qualify for the badge, you will receive a notification letting you know and it will also reflect on your profile. Only freelancers without a Job Success Score can participate in the Rising Talent program. Not all projects and clients are equal, so the time it takes to get a Job Success Score varies. In order to get a Job Success Score, you need to complete:
Projects with 2 (or more) different clients
4 (or more) different contracts within 24 months
Once you do get a JSS you can start working towards Top Rated Status! You can find the requirements to be Top Rated here.

Hi Abdul,
Once you meet the criteria for earning a talent badge, you will be notified to let you know and the badge will also appear in your profile. I highly encourage you to check out the links Andrea shared to learn more about how you can earn these badges.

Hi Pradeep,
Thanks for the response. I think its third requirement is a problem right now. My JSS was shown about two weeks earlier and it is saying that it should be maintained for atleast 13 weeks. So I think that when 13 weeks are passed, it will give Top Rated badge (i.e. after 11 more weeks). Other than that, all the requirements are 100% Complete, including profile completeness, availability, Job in-progress, more than 20K earning in 12 months, JSS 100%, no account holds, ...

Hi Pradeep,
This is my 6th week Top Rated Eligible week but Upwork didn't updated it this time. Can you please look into this? There was no recent hold, JSS is 100% and not got down for any week, earning is more than $20K for last 12 months, profile is complete, ...
[Update]
I just checked Today and it's updated to Week 6 so that's fine now.

Your JSS was below 90% for a while, right? In that case that block of "bad" weeks (weeks during which you were below 90%) has to fall out of your 16 week window. Essentially you were above 90% before the "bad" weeks, so every week you add a "good" week, a "good week" falls out of the rolling 16 week window as well, and the block of "bad" weeks keeps moving down.
Until those "bad" weeks start falling out of the 16 weeks window, your total number of eligible weeks will not increase.

Hi Sheila,
Petra explained the way your eligible weeks are calculated, please check this graph for a visual representation of this process.

Thank you for the quick reply so i need to wait for this ,for how many months or weeks ?, before my top rated elligibilty moves, because i think he takes more than a month before the previosus freelancer that had the same situation. Thanks
Jul 27, 2017 12:45:08 AM by Petra R
well, the window has 16 weeks, ok?
You need 13 eligible ones, so it will take however long it takes for enough of the non eligible weeks to reach the end of the 16 week window and start to drop off.
This is assuming that you stay above 90% throughout.
Your eligible weeks now won't go up until 16 weeks after you first went below 90% - so near 4 months after that happened

I think it's unfair i've been trying hard to move up my jss and this so called" bad" weeks makes like my hardwork is nothing can't describe a word for this. It's dissapointing.

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all good.
First of all, Thanks to upwork team and everyone for making this huge platform and community.
It's been ~2 months and I didn't posted any queries on this forum because most of the time the queries got resolved via older and other posts / discussions. But this time, I am not able to find correct and single solution for this. Though I spent some time on surfing and reading other posts related to "Top Rated eligible Weeks" etc.
I'd really appreciate your time to read this post and help me on this. Thanks.

I'm not sure why but still shows 8 of the 16 weeks which I think was showing ~1-2 months ago also, I'm continously keeping my eye on the stats from last ~2 months and it seems like just Last updated status and Earnings is being updating on the stats tab.

Also yes, I remember I got the Rising Talent badge too after completing my first job.

Thanks.

Hello everyone,
I think I may also has the same issue, I have maintained my Rising Talant padge for almost a year now, I have earnd more than $1000, and my account stats shows 16 out of 16 weeks, am I eligible for the Top Rated Padge, or is something missing? can any on take a look and tell me. thanks!

Helmy E wrote: am I eligible for the Top Rated Padge, or is something missing?
No, you are not eligible for top rated status, you need a Job Success Score of 90% or better and to get a Job Success Score you must have a minimum of 4 (usually 5 +) completed (ended) contracts from a minimum of 3 different clients.

Hi there,
Why I didn't get my top rated badge yet?
I gained more than 1k, and I have 13/16 Top Rated eligible weeks. I also have 100% Job Success Score.
Kindly advise.
