Total Earning Not Updated

Hi, I am to ask a quick question. I want to know how many days it takes to get the profile total earnings updated. I think I have earned more but the numbers are not getting updated.

Hello,

On Upwork, the total earnings on your profile should be updated automatically and reflect your recent earnings within a few hours after the payment is successfully processed. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours for the earnings to be fully updated.

If you believe that your total earnings are not getting updated correctly and it has been more than 24 hours since you received payment for your work, there might be a technical issue or a delay in the system.

Thank you for your message. I checked your profile and can confirm that the earnings are displaying correctly. As Arun mentioned, any recent earnings can take up to 24 hours to appear. I recommend that you check out this help article for more information on how your profile earnings are displayed.

Hi Luiggi, I calculated the amount I earned and it shows more than 7k but in my profile, it shows 6k only. Is my calculation wrong? I downloaded the csv file and calculated.

Hi Sohit,

I apologize for the confusion. Once you reach $1,000 in earnings on your Upwork profile, the total earnings will be updated after every one thousand dollar increments. I checked your profile and noticed that your exact earning is less than $7000 and your profile earnings will update to $7K after the total earnings cross $7000. I always thought that this "total earning" system doesn't make sense as it currently stands. I understand that it doesn't matter much to update the profit in amounts of $100, but in no way does it seem logical that the range expands every $10,000 or every $100,000... It doesn't seem fair that a worker's profile reflects earnings of $100,000 when in fact it was earned 180,000, for example.
Is there a reason I'm missing for the platform not to change this option?
