Hello,
I noticed that when I take a hourly contract, the job is then added the following week to the total jobs whether it's ongoing or closed. For the fixed contracts, do those only get added to the total jobs when the jobs is completed?
Do milestones in a fixed contract count as one job each or more than one?
For examples, it a job had two projects and there were two milestones, then that counts as two jobs.

Hello Brandon,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry if that caused any confusion. In general, whether the job is Hourly or Fixed-Price, they are reflected in your public profile as long as the client has paid at least $1 on the project and it's ready to be withdrawn.
If you're working on an Hourly contract, your earnings become available every Wednesday following the client's review period. For Fixed-Price ones, that should be after the five-day security period from when the client releases the first milestone.

Basically, if my fixed contract hasn't been paid out, then it's not recorded as a total job until paid out, correct?
Why does the hourly earnings is every Wednesday of the following week, and the fixed-rate go through a five-day security period?
Does Upwork verify the hourly and fixed earnings before releasing the funds?

Hourly contracts still go to the 5-day security period. See help article below.
