After continous struggle of optimizing my profile, providing every necessary details, posting almost 20 portfolios to showcase my work, and not forgetting the 500 connects i spend, i am still unable to get a job. Every second of my proposal gets a view and not a single one to just message me. I am very dissapointed and thinking of qutting this platform.

Space,
As mentioned in the review of your profile last week, I agree with Kim--the biggest thing you can do right now is focus on the quality of your proposals.
Your profile looks fine, but there are several "nitpicky" things I would change:
Hourly Rate: Use a rate with a fractional that ends in ".00." It might seem odd, but most people expect to see an hourly rate like $13.00/hr. It's cleaner, and probably gets more attention than a number like $12.67.
Title: Since the industry standard representation for the three-dimensional acronym is "3D," you should use it in your title: 3d Visualizations -> 3D Visualizations. You use "3D" throughout your summary, which is great, but the title is one of the first things a client sees when searching for freelancers. Again, it seems small and odd, but capital letters stand out more.
Overview/Summary: Most clients have specific needs and look for freelancers who can meet those needs. Clients don't care if you're returning to Upwork, so I recommend using a more appealing statement for your first sentence. Maybe something like:
I'm a versatile and brainy Architect & Interior Designer with 15 years of experience, and a track record of completing over 100 successful interior design projects. I plan and execute the design of interior spaces for office buildings, houses, apartments, villas, hotels, and more. |
Your portfolio and testimonials look great, so nothing to nitpick there.
I think the biggest thing you can do is focus on the approach used in your cover letters. When a client is intrigued by your cover letter, your profile tells a good enough story that should convince them to hire you.

Your profile looks good. You can use the Catalog part as well. But trust me, it's way too hard to crack a job on Upwork. I won't suggest you hold on. You should try every option out there because Upwork is not gonna change now. They are here to take money from freelancers. All the best!!!

You refer to past experience on Upwork which doesn't appear on your profile.
Your name appears to be that of an agency.
Your photo looks like a logo rather than a genuine photo of an individual.
The list of skills says nothing about you directly or how you work.
That combination doesn't inspire confidence.
But none of this matters if your proposals aren't gaining any interest, so that's where you need to put the work in.

Clark one more thing, can you please tell me that is it good now to change my profile name. i made this account 6 years ago and thought it will be a good profile name. But as Kim suggested it feels like an agency. If i change it all my testimonials have to be revised.

I was asking about your name above, then I realized you shouldn't be ID verified if the name is different from your ID.
So how could that happen? Just curious. I joined more than a decade ago and they ID verify me (ID card + video call) 3 years ago.

The profile name can be changed. the name on my bills and payments is my exact name as ID, i have asked upwork before and mentioned in group platforms also that you can change your proile name to whatever u want

I see, thank you.
About your question, there's one thing that Clark forgot to tell you (he usually mentioned it in his other posts), where it's probably just the way it is. (Almost) everyone is experiencing 'something different' right now. If you spend a little more time in reading the forum you'll find lots of threads about this.
Every second of my proposal gets a view and not a single one to just message me.
What is your proposal viewed vs. sent ratio (this page > analytics > proposals)? This is the first metric before prospective clients see your proposal text, or profile. If this goes up, your interviews/hires will also go up, etc.
In average, (from people posting their stats in the forum) viewed:sent is below 30%, which means it's bad from the start and we can do almost nothing about it.

No, you cannot change your profile name to whatever you want - it has to be your legal name and match your ID. Where did you see in a "group platform" that this is allowed? It's only allowed if you have an agency.

Yes, I agree that a profile name change would be good. As Kim stated, the name sounds like an agency and your profile photo looks a bit like a mini marketing graphic.
There are plenty of agencies here on Upwork, but if you're operating as a freelancer, your profile (i.e., name, photo) should indicate that.
