Hey, I need an opinion I'm new on Upwork & Doing My Clients Hourly Project as he said He will pay me 100$ the images but I'm not sure if I will receive the payment because I heard clients even charged back. Instead of putting hours Automatically with desktop App I have done it manually Let me know seniors advice please

All hourly contracts are paid weekly - the same time for all freelancers, regardless of when a contract ends. There is nothing in Upwork rules that says you are entitled to 'immediate' payment upon ending a contract and that a contract being closed 'immediately' dumps a paycheck into your account. There's a process and a schedule to the payments going out....

The work WEEK is still in progress. Upwork isn't going to just 'end' the work week early and invoice the client earlier than scheduled just for you because you want your payment 'right now'. It'll go out next week through the normal process like everybody else's
A client can end a contract at anytime and it doesn't simply 'cancel out' everything you have worked up to that date. They are still charged for the hours up until the close the contract. The client can close the contract out anytime, especially if they got everything they needed and want to make sure you don't try to bill anymore hours this week or in future weeks.
If it's manual hours, it's not 'guaranteed' at all, and this is a practice you should only use if absolutely necessary or with a client you know/trust. However, if he truly paid the last time, it's unlikely that he would suddenly 'scam' you now If a client does a 'chargeback' you are no going to get any money regardless of how you billed - manual or time tracker. If a client does a chargeback, Upwork just snatches the money back from you, apologizes, and you're out of luck.

Your profile shows you have had two jobs, one for $150. and one for $180; is it one of these jobs? I don't see the job you are referencing. How did you sell the channels?
The only chance of Upwork possibly covering a chargeback is with automatically tracked hours, not manual. The client should not be in control of how you work. If they refuse automatic tracking - do not work for them. There are plenty of freelancers, like me, that work on fixed-price projects or manually tracked hours. However, being new, you need to be very careful because the scammers are waiting for freelancers who don't understand the system and believe they will receive more money than normal for a job, buy something from the scammer, or take jobs XXXX more than their rate.

The payment should go ahead if all is well with the payment method. But if there's a chargeback, there's a problem - you worked at two and a half times your normal hourly rate. Also, the fact that the hours weren't logged with the tracker will mean that Upwork won't refund you.

The ending of the contract has nothing to do with the payment in an hourly contract. In most cases, the client will be invoiced, his card charged and after the security hold of 5 days, you should get the payment. Regardless of whether the hours were tracked using the tracker or manually entered.
But if the client intends to cheat you or not pay you, then also you would have been paid had you tracked the hours using the time tracker. But since you tracked the hours manually and if the client does not want to pay you or files a charge back Upwork will not pay you. That is the reason you should always ALWAYS try to log hours using the time tracker, especially with new clients.
At this point you have nothing to worry about, you should wait for a few days and see how it goes. On the day of processing if his balance is low or if he files a chargeback after the payment was processed, there is really nothing you can do about it. All you can do is be careful in the future.
Creating Upwork tickets is not going to help you, it is you who made the mistake of logging manual hours. Even if the client pays you this time, you have to be careful in the future!
Since the client paid you twice your hourly rate, I have a feeling you might have been scammed! Do not get carried away when clients offer you what you'd usually be paid for the job.

Please don't contact support for these matters. There is the academy, the help section, the forum, where you can learn how everything works. If you do that, you will be able to come to your own solution, which is ultimately better than expecting support to explain everything to you. That is not their job. Contact support for technical problems, not lack of knowledge about the platform.
