I have been trying to close an account of my freelancer. I am the agency owner and we created the account on our end. There is an error showing there is an open proposal but everything is arvhieved. Anyone from upwork support who can help? this has been a trouble for sometime now.

By archived, you mean that the proposal has been withdrawn?

Your freelancer will need to withdraw all their archived proposals in order to close the account, if your freelancers is unable to close it after this tell them to contact us directly so that we can assist them further.

You are not allowed to close the freelancer's account. The freelancer needs to close their account **IF** that is what the freelancer WANTS. The account belongs to and is owned by the freelancer.
