I have tried 4 times in the past couple of days to add my VAT number to the tax information requested on my profile, but keep getting emails that Upwork has been unable to validate the information. I have run it through VIES and it comes up correctly. I think the issue is that it is being checked against my name, instead of that of my company. I have already provided Upwork with company information that was needed for bank account verification because the same issue occurred (bank accounts are in the name of my company, not myself).
