Hi Upwork Team & Upwork Community,

With all due respect I would like to report an issue that I am facing problems while buying connects with my master card I had tried almost 3 to 4 times up till now still it says card number not valid even though my number is valid and I am not doing any typo mistakes, I humbly request please look into this issue and let me know the proper resolution for this issue .

Hi Jawad,

I would also advise you to either use another browser or login again. It happens sometimes that the given passwords, or card numbers are not accepted. 

I have faced this issue and what I do is to wait a little and do the process again or login again. After this, my issue is resolved.

Hey,
I want to buy connects but the billing page is giving an error. It says, "Sorry, a critical Component of this page failed to loadPlease reload the page." Tried on mobile as well, changed my browser, cleared cookies but still, the error is occurring. It's been a month now.

I asked my bank if there is any issue regarding online or international
payments, but everything is fine according to them. My international
transactions are allowed and there is no such limit. But still I face the
same problem.

Hello, there i am new to upwork. I can't buy connects may be because my account basic plan is the previous plan and guess need it to be update to the new basic plan to be able to buy connects. What should i do?

Hi Joanne,
As i am from india i tried to buy connects through my visa credit card and this is what happen-

I first select the package i want to buy than i click on " buy connect".
The page shows redirecting to bank account page.( as my billing method is saved)
After the page opens the bank account page ask for OTP the finale step of purchase.
I get the OTP and enter it into the page.

But when i enter OTP it doesn't pay, instead it throw me back to the same page of add more connects... with a message at top " select " add connects" to continue.

Why i can't buy it is there any specific reason?

No, didn't i cleared cookies and cache , tried login through a different browser too but nothing happened. This is what shown in the last of after submitting OTP (picture below).

,it refreshes the page and takes me to the same window ,which i attached it

I have already waiting for 48hrs. I want to purchase connects mainly but It's not showing me option for verify my identity, I'm unable to connect my bank or Visa card for purchasing or withdrwal.

I checked your account but was not able to view any billing methods attached to your account. Please keep in mind that in order to be able to purchase Connects via PayPal, you will need to have a verified PayPal account.

I want to purchase the connects, but when I click to add connects, then they show "try alternate billing method or try later." What is the problem?

I would advise to check your payment methods under Settings -> Get Paid. There is likely an issue with your current payment method. I would also check if you have any unread emails from Upwork or your payment method provider (perhaps in your spam/bulk email folder?).
