Unable to reduce my profile rate

Hi Guys,

I tried editing my profile rate my clicking on the pencil but for some reason, it won't accept below $3.

I am not part of any teams by the way. Please assist.

3 USD is the minimum rate. Why would you want to work for less anyway?

Well, my last job here was 2012 and i've been a member since upwork was with odesk.

At that time, we can change the hourly rate freely. Reason i wanted to work less is to build my reputation again. anyways. thanks for replying. its clear now
