Unable to use/add payment card

I repeteadly receive the error 'We are unable to authorize your card as the billing details you entered does not match with your bank or credit card company. Please add another billing method or contact your issuing bank.'

 

I have checked and all of my bank details are correct and matching, and that my card is valid and accepted by Upwork as it is a UK debit card. 

 

Please advise

 

Edit: Upon contacting my bank, they confirm that no payment has gone through, and no transaction details are available, meaning the error is on Upwork's end

Verify your card support 3DS (3D secure) and confirm the 'white listing' of your card. 1 last thing, Do not try it again and again. if you have made number of try. Then wait for 24-48 hours and try again. (before try again make sure to clear the browser chace or use an other browser)

Hello Afzaal. As stated, I checked with my bank and they don't even have a record of the transaction, meaning I can't check the whitelisting of the card as there are no records to speak of. And yes, the card has 3DS support. My bank is HSBC UK, so I expect it should function as well as any standard card.

Thank you for reaching out. I checked your account and did not find the payment method in question. Could you please try adding your payment method again and let us know if the issue persists?

Hello Ivy. I have tried again and have the same issue. After contacting my bank they also have no record of payment. To be clear, I was not charged, and the payment did not go through. Upwork simply cannot verify my card.

Can anyone help me escalate this to a ticket or help me contact support? As Upwork does not list an email to contact their support team or have a way to submit a ticket for this issue
