Unable to write message on Upwork mobile app.

Hello,

 

thank you for reading this message!

 

I am using vivo android mobile verison 8.1.0. I have problem that i am unable to write messages to individual chat as my mobile's keyboard is not displayed at all. All i can see is an option to attach something. However i can use keyboard (it pops up) everywhere else within upwork app like i can search within chats, i can search jobs, etc etc. It is only that individual chat with client where it does not work. 

 

Beside upwork app, all other apps like slack, fb, whatsapp work fine on this mobile phone. I am curious why only individual chat. 

 

I have another mobile running andriod 6.0 (a very old one), but the app works fine on it too (Xperia E5). 

 

I will be really thankful if the community can guest a solution.

Before posting this problem, i tried following:

 

1. Force stopped app, cleared cache etc for the app.

2. Restarted my cell phone.

3. Factory reset so that i have opted for something by mistake, it reverts back.

4. Installed app twice, as you said. I have already done it.

I have the same issue in writing a private message in the app. The problem I understand is my Huawei phone has an Android 8.0 version while your app requires an 8.0+ version. What should I do?
