Unpaid and No Increase

Instead of increasing my salary, client make it 7usd in 10-12mins video instead of 10usd. Our first agreement is 10usd but he make it 7usd per video and he's also planning to decrease it as I submitted my last project to him late. I'm working with him in 6 months

Hi John,

I'm sorry to learn about your experience. It sounds like you're referring to Contract ID 28802894. I checked your contract, and it looks like the client explained why each milestone released is $7 and not $10. It would b be best to discuss this further with your client.

I don't have an insight into your conversation or initial arrangement with your client. It's up to you how you want to proceed with the changes to the contract, but I do want to point out that both parties are obligated to abide by the terms agreed at the onset of the job unless they both agree to change the terms at a later date. If you do not agree with any changes to the contract, you can stop work and negotiate the contract details or proceed as you see fit for your freelancing business. In any case, you are the driver of your business.
