Unresponsive client (contract on hold)

Hello,

I have an on going project. However upwork placed my contract on hold and was advised not to work on the project until it's settled. I was trying to reach out to my client however he's not responding. Any advise?

Wait until the contract is resumed. If nothing happens after a few weeks, close it,
