Unresponsive client

I have an open inactive contract with this client and he has been unresponsive for about a month now. So i want support to come to my aid on this, as i wouldn't want the negative effect of inactive open contract on my JSS.

Clients are not required to be responsive.

That is fine.

This does not hurt you.

You don't need to contact Upwork support. It is not appopriate for you to bother them about this matter.

 

If the client has no further work that he is asking you to do, then leaving the contract open won't hurt your JSS. Closing the contact won't hurt your JSS.

If the client didn't leave feedback, doesn't that hurt?

If the client made any payment on the contract, then it should have zero effect on your Job Success Score.
