UpWork Introduction Video

Hey,

I am planning to make an introduction video today for UpWork.

But I dont want to make a video of me speaking, I think that will be boring. Instead I want to do a fun 1 minute video where I will write codes in intersting, fun ways and the customer can see my skills in action (with light music in the background). I have plans to make it super interesting.

Now the question for you guys is, please tell me that it is allowed in UpWork to post screenshare and animation videos as an introduction video without a freelancer introducing himesle in a boring way.

I read the terms forward and backword and nothing is mentioned whether it is compulsary to make boring videos of a freelancer talking.

TIA

Adam

Hi Nifal,

I believe there's nothing wrong in uploading such videos. Smiley Very Happy

Hi Adam,

I can confirm the scenario you mentioned is in line with our ToS, as long as the work you're showcasing in the video is your own and you have your client's permission (in case the work was done on a contract basis).
