UpWork Messages does not work properly

The Upwork message system is getting worse day by day. Getting issues very frequently. It is not loading messages anymore. It happened a few days before, and that time was solved by switching to the old message system. But not it's not loading the page anymore. 

Can someone tell me what actually happened to the chat system?

I am having the same problem.  Multiple times a week I am shut out of the messages.

I am having the same issue. It was not so bad before...but I have been trying to send a message for the last 15 minutes and on the screen it just tells me 'waiting for connection'.

Try to use a different browser and remove the cache of the browser.
