Upwork Escrow refund

Yesterday upwork auto closed my contract client was in lockdown all payment were clear expect one very small milestone of $10 for upwork is requesting refund from escrow

Refunding will effect my profile by any means? Should I do it client has tried talking to upwork but they said we have to return and start new contract.

Hi Ibrahim, 

Are you referring to the Job Success Score? Refunds don't directly impact your Job Success Score. Your Job Success Score can change because:

• You receive poor public or private feedback from one or more clients.
• You receive very positive public or private feedback from one or more clients.
• A higher-value job is added to your score and outweighs lower-value jobs.
• Jobs you completed in the past are no longer considered because they are outside the score's time frame.

If the client leaves bad feedback after the refund, this will impact your score. Also, contracts with $0 earned and positive feedback will be excluded from the calculation.
