If this was a fixed-price project with the funds owed to you in escrow, when you submit the work, the client has 14 days to review the work, and ask for any modification if needed before approving payment. So the 5-day security period starts from the time the client releases the amount. If the client does nothing at all in those 14 days, then Upwork will automatically release the payment to you.
When the client or Upwork releases the funds then your money will go into "pending".
Don't resubmit your work, because that will start the whole process from the beginning again.
