Upwork Service Fees Deduction

Hi everyone, I am here for my curiousness about the Upwork service fees. I have recently done a job of $480 and Upwork deducted $71 as a service fee. Now I have earned more than $1000 and for that Upwork should deduct 10% as a service fee. But how is $71, 10% of $480? I don't know if I am misunderstood. If anyone can help me with it then it would be great.

It's $500 with any one client, not $500 overall.

Once you have billed any one client $500, the fee on all earnings from THIS client (only) will be 10%.

If part of that $480 was earned below the $500 line with that client and part was above it, the part below would have been charged at 20% and the part above at 10%
