Upwork Service Fees

Hi,
I know that Upwork  to honor the Elance rate for freelancers who will begin or have begun an Upwork contract with a client they’ve worked with before on Elance. When applicable, this fee will also decrease to 5%.

I want to know Is there any deduction in fee when a freelancers invite their clients to join Upwork and start a job with them????

Recently I invited a client to join Upwork, she joined and invited me for a job..

Kindly let me know if there is any deduction in fee.

 Only if you are top rated, which you are not at this stage.

Thank you for the reply, Yes I am not a top rated at this stage but I was about 2 months ago, My JSS dropped from 100% to around 86% about two months ago then I completed a few more jobs with 5 stars and positive feedbacks and reached 91% and then 95%. It happened about 3-4 weeks ago and the "Top Rated Eligible Weeks"  "were 8of16" and did not change since then and are still 8of16....

Hi Usman,

In order for the number of eligible weeks to decrease, non-eligible weeks will need to fall of of the calculation while eligible weeks are added. It may take several weeks to happen. Please, see the end of this help article for more information
