Upwork Time Tracker Desktop App on VM?

Hello all,

Can I ask everyone or moderator that, can I install and use Upwork time tracker on Virtual machine?

I want to separate between work and personal desktop

So, is any chance to get the account to suspend?

if it allowed please confirm for me

I do this as well primarily because it lets me seperate all my clients work into one machine and then I can switch context's easily.  So I can tell you that the tracker works.

I can't see how it is a violation, it doesn't just take screenshots it also tracks activity levels and you only get that if you are working on that machine.  It is actually quite nice to pause the machine and restart it and not have to think about the tracker.

Hi Wiroon,

While it's not against the Upwork's ToS to use Desktop App on Virtual machine, please note that sharing accounts, having multiple accounts is not allowed as well as letting anybody other than the hired freelancer track time on the contract.
