Upwork app doesnt work (mac)

My upwork app for mac doesnt work all of a suddon. Its been working for years, but now, I cant open it, and I cant delete it either because it says it is open. This has happened for 3 days now and its blocking my work! Would appreciate any help, thanks!

Hi Marita,

Please try closing your app from the background (On windows is by opening Task Manager) and reinstalling it again. You can also follow the steps listed in this Guide on how to troubleshoot the app. Thank you.

Thank you, I tried that but it wont let me since it says that the app is open?

Hi Marita,

Did you tried the steps below to Force Quit the application:

Hit Command+Option+Escape from anywhere to bring up the simple “Force Quit Applications” window, then click on the app name to select, and click on the “Force Quit” button.
