Upwork app for Mac - can't stop opening at login

I have an issue with the Upwork App for Mac, running on a MacBook Pro laptop running Big Sur 11.6. I cannot get the app to NOT load at login. There is an option within the app's icon in the dock ("Open at Login"), but it won't uncheck when I click on it. I have turned off the option in the app's settings, too ("Automatic Launch" option in Advanced Settings is toggled off).

Just a minor annoyance, but still. 🙂 Help appreciated.

Select Support and Feedback
Enter the details of your issue and click Send
