Hi, Upwork closed my friend's account stating that he was taking work off the platform. They have no proof (and he is not taking work off the platform). He's just been working hard submitting proposals and not getting any jobs or actively earning on the platform. And they say this is an indication that he taking work off the platform.
How is Upwork addressing the likelihood that their AI is not accurate? And why can't someone reactivate his account?
This is someone who is serious about becoming a great, committed freelancer like what Upwork is looking for.

The kind of freelancers that Upwork are looking for are those who win contracts and make money.
You have to understand that Upwork has way too many freelancers at this stage. It can't carry people who don't win contracts.
Your friend didn't succeed to win any contracts, and most new freelancers don't. There is no benefit to your friend or any other freelancer who can't get hired to hang around.
