Hi Upwork team,
I have received an email from Upwork which says "The upcoming Upwork desktop app (Version 5.0) that will begin rolling out in December will not be compatible with your Linux operating system. To continue tracking time and benefiting from the latest features and security updates, please consider switching to a supported operating system: Windows 7+, OS X 9+, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, or 16.04 LTS."
So, I am curious about the new LTS version of Ubuntu which is 18.04LTS supposed to be released in next April. Will Upwork tracker support 18.04LTS or do I need to stick with 16.04 or 14.04?
Also, I'm thinking about moving to arch linux and I found an Upwork tracker in AUR repos. Is it an official tracker from Upwork?
Thanks,
Joseph

As stated, you will need to switch to a supported operating system to continue using the time tracker. So in short, no, the tracker available in the repo is not officially supported. The only officially supported version of the desktop app is available directly from the website.

Hi Rahul,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the desktop app. Could you please specify what is not working so I can include it in my report?
