Upwork desttop app is never on the list of the apps I can give permission to

When I go to "privacy" under "System Preferences", Upwork desktop app is never on the list of the apps I can give permission to screen record.  I have installed and uninstalled many times and still no luck.  when i install the app it never promts me any permissions to give access to cam or screenshots.  im on a mac

Just to clarify, the Desktop app is not taking screenshots at all or simply your home screen is captured?

Hello,

The app is taking screenshots but only of my home screen. I already
followed the steps in the shared post but no luck. The issue I'm having is
that the Upwork App doesn't seem to appear when I go to screen recording.
Below is a screenshot:
