I have a fixed price project that has been opened since January 2017 that has not been closed. I emailed the client to close the project but he did not respond. I know Upwork has a policy of closing projects after 90 days - how do I flag someone to do this for me? Please let me know.
It may affect your JSS score, But so will having Upwork pause the contract for inactivity. I don't think, and I may be wrong, Upwork doesn't close jobs unless those jobs violate their TOS.
No Upwork has autoclosed a project for me before after 90 days. I just never got a notification this time around.
They institued the autoclose policy 2 years ago.
I've asked the support team to look into this as it was supposed to have been closed on the 90-day mark. They have advised that they will investigate it further.
