How long does one pay the 20% commission to Upwork, before it drops to 10%?

20% on the first $500 earned from a client

10% on earnings from that client up to $10,000

5% after that.

The percentages apply to each of your clients.

Enterprise customers will have different percentages (usually 10% regardless of earnings).

However long it takes to reach $500 with any one client (it is per client, not overall)
