That would be a violation of Upwork's terms of service which forbid the use of the logo in NY way without permission. Why would you do that anyway, clients know where they are and the last thing they want to see is a copyright infringement at first glance.

Upwork could come out today and tell everybody: "Go ahead and use the logo in your portfolio projects."

But... Why would a freelancer do that?

I don't work for Upwork.

I didn't create the logo.

I use Upwork to promote myself and my services, not to promote Upwork as a brand.

I don't need an Upwork logo in my Upwork portfolio in order for clients to know that they can hire me through Upwork.

I don't think it would benefit me even if it was allowed.

You should perhaps ask Upwork if you are infringing copyright by using the logo on your Tshirt. Unless it is one of Upworks Tshirts?
