Upwork, mobile phone

Hi there, it is obvious that either, I am not aware of how to use my mobile properlyو or something is wrong. I have been trying to download the Upwork application on my mobile phone but unsuccessfully. Thanks again for your help.

May be you have something not to close or may be your internet signal was'nt good enough for you to proceed.

IIRC the mobile phone "app" is basically a thin layer on top of the website, it appears on the surface to be simply wrapping up the web app using an embedded WebView. As such, it's subject to all the same issues and requirements as if you were visiting the website in your mobile browser, in particular, a connection is required. If you're having problems actually installing rather than using, it could be an incompatibility between your version of the OS and the app, it's possible that if the app is implemented with a recent version of the iOS/Android SDK that might be incompatible with your device, more information would be needed for UpWork to determine this. However, as I said, it doesn't really bring any significant advantage over just using the site in your mobile browser. For example, it doesn't even honour the device font size setting for accessibility, so anyone with sight difficulties is out of luck. Clearly, the developers are too busy putting in new ways to squeeze money out of freelancers to put any time into the mobile app.

Hi Mr. Paul, I shall follow those instructions carefully. Although my brothers Khalid and Muhammad are genius in computers and smartphones, I don't know why  I am so naive about those devices. I really appreciate it. Thanks Paul.
