Upwork payment via Payoneer

Whilst transferring my earnings to my bank account, I noticed that the exchange rate of USD to INR was lower than the usual rate. I've heard about Payoneer and how it provides the current exchange rates but I was wondering if it's a safe platform and how it works. If anyone uses that method please let me know the pros and cons.

Payoneer is actually one of the best platforms for making withdrawal on upwork or any freelancing platform.
