Upwork reduced fees

Hi, guys just a quick question regarding Upwork Fees. 

If I end a contract, from which I have made over $500, with a client and start a new one will there still be only 10% Upwork fees applied to that contract or will I have to earn another 500 with the samke client in order for the Upwork fees to apply again?

It will remain at 10% provided it's the same client.

The fee rate is at the client level and not at the contract level. So, Once you have crossed the initial threshold of $500, it will be 10% if both of you keep the same account!
