For several weeks now I have been having problems buying connects. When I checkout I get the following error:
Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please refresh the page and try again. If this issue keeps happening, contact customer support.
On one occasion I deleted and re-registered the debit card I have on file and was able to purchase connects. But now I am getting the same error again and can't find any answer from Upwork.
I have tried to communicate through the chat but the only answer I get is that it recommends me to join the community but does not give me any solution or communicate with an agent. I would be very grateful if you could help me to solve this problem since I have not been able to apply.

Last i saw an error like that, my card had to be changed as there was some issues with making payments on certain sites - it was a matter of getting a new card but i havent seen an error in ages. Welcome to the forums, i have notified a moderator so that they can have a look.
Your title is true but if it was ' Error - cant buy connects' or 'I cant make payment due to error", i think you would have gotten a response alot faster 😉

Weeks ago I sent several messages both by the community and by chat where I wrote "It does not allow me to make the payment when buying connects" Help! the platform generates an error when buying connects" "The platform sends me the following message: (Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please refresh the page and try again. If this issue keeps happening, contact customer support.) and does not allow me to buy connects".
Despite sending several messages like this I never received a response. It was only when I referred to the lousy customer service response that I started to receive attention from Upwork.
