Upwork thinks I'm underage even though I'm 18 years old

Happy Tuesday everyone,
Today is my 18th birthday.

I'm really excited today because I can finally verify my identity and get back to work at upwork.

I first registered for upwork in november 2020 and at that time i was 17 years old and didn't know that upwork had a TOS where freelancers had to be 18 years old and above.

However, I got my first client in december to january. I got a total of 320$ more or less and after deducting the upwork fee I got the final 256$.

After that a notification appears that I have to verify myself via ID CARD & Video Call. However, I was 17 years old at the time. So I took a hiatus until today it's my 18th birthday and I've verified myself but upwork sent an email

After reviewing the documents you submitted for ID verification, we determined that you are not yet 18 years old.

All Upwork users are required to be 18 or older, therefore, we have suspended your Upwork account and requested the account information be deleted.

Once you have reached the legal minimum age requirement, you may sign up again for another account.

And I tried to login via google associated with my account but it seems that my account has been deleted and a notification appears that my email is not linked to any account.

I'm disappointed, I'm 18 years old. And I also have a balance for my hard work there. But upwork deleted my account and didn't help me to withdraw the funds I had.

You can delete my account, but please don't delete what I got.

I can verify again if upwork want to verify again. I can show my ID Card, my birth certificate and manymore to prove that im 18 years old.

Hello, earlier this year I signed up and worked freelancing at Upwork, not after long it was brought to my attention that my account had to be suspended because of my age. I was told my account would be suspended and that my account could be reactivated once I turned 18, I turned 18 during July and with the college semester being in full swing, ready to get back to freelancing. I have a Government issued ID as well as current access to the account's details for verification as well as sign in purposes. Hope you have a great day!

Upwork may be penalizing you for signing up before you were 18. You are a rule breaker.
