Use of the same device (laptop) and internet address by 2 different Upwork users

Hi team,

We intend to assign this laptop and our current internet connection to another person/ entity.
They too are Upwork users and intend to use this device and the internet connection to access Upwork.

Since we will not be using the device/ Internet we intend to ensure that none of the users is affected, concerning Upwork policy.
As in the past, we understand that Upwork has blocked users if more than 1 user is working using the same device/ IP address.

Please suggest the way forward to ensure that we are in sync with Upwork policies and that none of the users are affected with the approach.

Hi Ritu,

It is fine if more than one user is using the same laptop or internet connection. As long as you don't share your account with another person you aren't violating Upwork's ToS. It's important that you don't share your login credentials with anybody and don't log into other users' accounts as it's a serious violation of Upwork ToS.
