Using two devices - is this a violation?

Hello Upwork Community.

Please bear with me and my silly question, as it's been quite a while since I got hired and I would just like to make sure I adhere to all of Upwork's rules.

I own two laptops.

One is my personal laptop that I either leave at the house or bring to a coffee shop or coworking cafe to work etc, and a second laptop I leave at a room that I rent (I stay in two places for personal reasons)

During the day, I am at Location A with my first laptop.

During afternoon, I am at Location B with my second laptop.

Is it a violation? If I run my timer on two separate laptops on two different locations on separate times, is it a violation?

Thank you in advance for any response.

Please stay safe out there.

Hi Arian Marie,

No, it is not a problem to use multiple devices (desktops or laptops) as long as you don’t share your account with another person. It’s important that you don’t share your log in credentials with anybody and don’t log into other users’ accounts as it’s a serious violation of Upwork TOS.

Thank you!
