VAT ID not verified

Hi,

I am new to Upwork and Upwork just won't validate my VAT ID. I have a valid (Dutch) EU VAT ID that can be verified on VIES. It is the right format, right company name, everything is correct. I really don't understand what causes the problem and I see that I'm not the only one with this issue. My VAT ID must be validated asap as now I can't validate a project offer.
