VAT Number - Need some help

Hi, I have created an account long time on Upwork and made successfuly two sales.

This is where I need help. 

1) I'm not a company but just a private provider of services. I have a day job where I live. I'm located in Greece, Athens. How can I provide to Upwork my VAT number?

I have provided my Greek VAT number but currently it says on Upwork:

Status

Not Approved

Hi Alex,

You can verify the validity of a VAT number by entering it in the VIES database. Let me know if it verifies in the database but not on Upwork. Thank you.
