VAT Number Portugal

Greetings.

I have been looking and tried to insert a VAT number that in portugal is equivalent to "Numero de Identificação Fiscal" or in english, Fiscal identification number. I Inserted in many different ways with pt, with no pt and it doesnt work. Every year i pay this fiscal "IRS" we call. I have done a search and many people from portugal seem to have the same problem. Please help me find a solutions.  Meanwhile i dont fix this, does this change anything in the matter of me being able to get a work through Upwork?

Hi Cristiano,

You'll need to add your VAT number that can be validated on the VIES website here. Otherwise it can't be accepted.
