Hi,

I am unable to register my german VAT Number. I do not want to pay VAT and want tu use "Reverse charge" System.

What did I wrong. German VAT start with DE +9 dgits.

Hi Alexander,

You can verify the validity of a VAT number by entering it in the VIES database. Let me know if it verifies in the database but not on Upwork. Thank you.

Hey,

thanks for reaching out. I did the validation on the page you send me but it still doesn´t solve my problem. I know that my German Vat Number is valid. I just can´t type her into UpWork because the German Vat Number starts with DE and then digits. On Upwork, I can only insert digits which results in a wrong VAT.
