VAT included? (EU and German Customers)

As I am based in Germany for all of my invoices inside EU, I am charging 19% for VAT, this is usually included my first hourly rate when I propose to customers. 

My question for here is, Should I do the same here? How this VAT is calculated at Upwork? Is the amount I am receiving from clients, already VAT included or excluded?

Hi Ali,

On Upwork VAT is assessed on services provided by Upwork -  service fees, membership fees, and connect purchases - not on services freelancers and agencies provide their clients. You are also able to view invoices in your Transaction History and they'll include information your client provided on their account.
