Yes, it is. In my process they were waiting a valid document that matches
my address in Italy but I tried before with other documents that were not
accepted but now I got my bank statement so I need the link that you sent
me to submit it.

Just to clarify, are you receiving any errors on Upwork when you're trying to add your VAT number, or you're referring to something else?

Freelancers and agencies with VAT numbers can add them by going to Settings › Tax Information. Thank you.

For the VAT number it appears like this in my profile... before it said it
was pending approval and after that it was not approved and now it looks
like this. (see picture I attach).

But I am talking about my account verification, a college of yours last
time this is what he wrote to me:
