VAT verification

Hello,

I am a Greek freelancer (living in Greece) and I am trying to add my VAT number to upwork. I tried to add just the number, but it couldn't be verified and then I tried to add the number with an EL, but still didn't work. I am sure that I am adding the right number. 

I cheked if I could find it here: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/, but I couldn't.  And then I checked here: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/tin/tinRequest.html and it came out that it is valid.
