Verifying my bank account to get paid via direct deposit.

I've been trying to verify my bank account with upwork in order to get paid via direct deposit, but both times I've tried, there's only been ONE $.00 deposit made to my account, not two. Since there needs to be two to verify, I've still not been able to do so. Please advise.

I checked and I see both verification amounts sent to your account. Could you please check your bank statement or contact your bank to confirm the deposits?

Hi, I entered the two amounts and pressed "verify" but nothing seems to
have happened. It's still saying the account needs to be verified, but now
when I click to verify again, it doesn't take me to any other screen.
