Video Chat for Identity Verification

I saw the banner message about getting an Identity Verification Badge and I'd like to have that on my profile. I have not received any messages or emails saying that this is an "Action Required" sort of thing. My account has not been suspended. I just would like to polish up my profile by having an Identity Verification Badge. I uploaded my government-issued ID and that was verified. Next step is the video chat. When I try to start the chat, however, I keep getting the message that there are "Issue(s) with My Device." I've tried everything (making sure I have the latest version of Chrome on my laptop, enabling Javascript, clearing cookies, disabling popups, ensuring access to my webcam & mic, etc.) and my internet speed is 20MBPS. What could be the problem here?

Yes, I do have the badge now. After posting my question to the community
forum, I tried setting up the chat using the safari browser with iOS on my
iPad and that worked.
