Visibility set to "Upwork Users" only?? You will show up in google searches with photo and rates!!

ALL Beware!! I just found myself with photo and rates on a google search INSPITE of visibility set to Upwork Users only.

Has anyone else had this poblem?

Sheela, I couldn't find mine but did find yours with an image search. However, when I click the link, this is what it displayed: (It also showed your hourly rate, which I've cropped out)

Was that while you were logged into your Upwork account? (If your profile is set to Upwork users only, it is meant to show in google searches when logged in, and not show when logged out.)

Try agai, logged out, from an incognito window.

Also, it takes weeks for google to catch up, so if you have recently set yourself from public to "Upwork users only" that could be the reason.

My visibility setting was always 'Upworks User' never public.
Strange that you think it shows up in google searches only when logged in.
How is that even possible unless Upwork is allowing access to Google, which
it should never do when member asked for privacy
