Hi,

I'm a student from Poland. Your site requires to provide tax information and more specifically W8-BEN form. It's written there to provide "Legal Name of Business". 

Do I have to have a company to work on Upwork? Can I just provide my name and last name?

Do I have to pay any taxes if I will provide my legal name (without company)?

For the "Legal Name of Business", yes, you can add your complete legal name. The Form W-8BEN is a form used to confirm you’re not a U.S. taxpayer and that Upwork is not required to withhold taxes from your earnings. Thanks.
