W9 for Non resident alien

Hi

I am new to upwork and just bagged my first assignment. I live in USA and have a valid US work permit however i mnot a citizen or green card holder. Does this make me Foriegn person rather than a US person. In this case do i need to fill W9 to withdraw my earnings?

Please guide !

Please consult yourself with a local tax advisor to check if you can work in the U.S. with your visa. Please note that for certain locations you will need to have the proper work documentation before being able to work.
